Heat-Labile UDG (Glycerol-Free) Glycerol-Free Heat-Labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG) Applications Elimination of aerosol contamination from dU-containing PCR amplicons. Removal of uracil bases from both single-stranded and double-stranded DNA. Product Description
Heat-Labile UDG (Glycerol-Free) is a glycerol-free version of Heat-Labile UDG (equivalent to Vazyme #P051). It combines excellent compatibility with lyophilization processes while maintaining the outstanding activity, contamination removal efficiency, and stability of conventional glycerol-containing heat-labile UDG for eliminating uracil-containing PCR carryover contamination. The formulation contains no glycerol or other additives that may interfere with freeze-drying, making it particularly suitable for the development and manufacture of lyophilized molecular diagnostic reagents. The enzyme exhibits high catalytic activity at room temperature and can be irreversibly inactivated after incubation at 50°C for 2 minutes, effectively preventing interference with subsequent amplification reactions. It is fully compatible with a wide range of nucleic acid amplification workflows, including PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, and RT-qPCR.
