Heat-Labile UDG (Glycerol-Free) Glycerol-Free Heat-Labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG) Applications Elimination of aerosol contamination from dU-containing PCR amplicons. Removal of uracil bases from single-stranded or double-stranded DNA. Product Description
Heat-Labile UDG (Glycerol-Free) is a glycerol-free version of Heat-Labile UDG (equivalent to Vazyme #P051). It combines excellent compatibility with lyophilization processes while maintaining the outstanding performance and stability of conventional glycerol-containing heat-labile UDG for eliminating uracil-containing template contamination. The formulation contains no glycerol or other components that may interfere with freeze-drying, making it an ideal choice for the development of lyophilized molecular diagnostic and PCR reagent formulations. This enzyme exhibits high catalytic activity at room temperature and can be irreversibly inactivated by incubation at 50°C for 2 minutes, preventing interference with downstream amplification reactions. It is suitable for a wide range of nucleic acid amplification applications, including PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, and RT-qPCR.
